Silvara Cellars is privileged to bring Denny Falzon back to Leavenworth to play for us! Denny is a fingerstlye guitarist and singer with the Tampa Bay Fingerstyle Guitar Guild. Having played guitar since 1964, he is known for strong thumb-driven guitar arrangements and tropical music influence.
What is "fingerstyle guitar"?
Fingerstyle guitar is both a classification and an evolving genre. It's best understood as both a technique and as a methodology allowing the guitarist to perform several musical elements simultaneously. Fingerstyle refers to using each of the right hand fingers independently in order to play the multiple parts of musical arrangement that would normally be played by several band members: bass lines, harmonic accompaniment, melody and percussion are all played simultaneously.
