Patience, like virtue, brings its own reward. The unfolding of aromas in a glass of wine is an excursion into hedonistic pleasure. This Cabernet opens slowly, unfurling a delicate aroma of sun warmed wild Georgia blackberries joined with the perfume of tree ripened Black Friar plums lightly dusted with Cassia. The firm tannins and prominent acids smooth into a nicely balanced mouth feel,lingering on the tongue.
